EZURiO’s Wireless Intelligent Telematics System – WiTS – is designed to provide the underlying platform for a wide range of Fleet Management Applications. Based on our successful and proven M2M product range, it consists of a secure, wireless system to retrieve vehicle data and store it on a local database. Using WiTS you can deploy a complete underlying vehicle data acquisition system that can underpin almost any Fleet Management application.

WiTS uses Cellular-free access to populate remote vehicle data on a secure database. Fleet Managers can then use this data to build their business models without having to worry about the hardware or data acquisition middleware. WiTS allows Fleet Managers to concentrate on what they do best – analyzing the data and selling services based upon that knowledge, whether it be insurance schemes, vehicle maintenance or driver behaviour profiling. The key feature of the WITS platform is its Cellular-free approach. It uses standard short range wireless connectivity for wireless data transfer, rather than the cellular networks (GPRS or CDMA). By using 802.11 (also known as Wi-Fi), large quantities of data can be transferred with no network cost or cellular subscription.
