EZURiO Ltd already has a strong presence in the embedded Bluetooth market, where their BISM modules, which integrates a full Bluetooth stack have become the product of choice for many embedded designers. EZURiO decided to bring the same ease of integration to wireless LAN, by designing a postage stamp sized module that provides a complete 802.11 solution.

By embedding all the drivers, stacks and programming capabilities required to implement Wireless LAN into one small module EZURiO is effectively providing everything that is needed to run a Machine 2 Machine (M2M) application, yet makes it simple enough to implement in a matter of hours.

According to analysts Harbor Research, the M2M market is about to explode. In a survey performed in September 2007, 60% of companies surveyed claimed that they intend to embed network capabilities into half or more of their products within the next three years.
